Lots of free video clips to use - many are low quality though, so you have to search through a lot of junk. (It's a pain to have to do that, but hey...the clips are free!)
There are absolutely no fees to download as much royalty stock footage as you would like. These are footages that span the world. All you do is to create a free account and you get to log in and download unlimited amounts of quality footage or clips that you are interested in.

ROYALTY FREE MUSIC
Pretty awesome collection of modern sounding original songs. Good composer, good production quality, and amazing variety of styles and instruments. All are free to use under Creative Commons: Attribution.

Provides music that has the copyright expired. From the site: “We provide recordings, sheet music, and textbooks to the public for free, without copyright restrictions.” At Musopen you can browse music by composer, performer, instrument, period or form. Musopen is great, especially if you are looking for classical music for your video.

More public domain recordings available for free. When content falls into the public domain it means that there are no longer any intellectual property rights attached to them, either because the rights have expired or been forfeited. Public domain music, video and other content can be used in any way, including in your online videos. A lot of the music is old (music from the early 1900s is now in the public domain if copyright was never renewed), but there is also more modern music that is free with artist permission.

Offers free music and sound effects. The tracks are free to use in your video, film, audio and multimedia projects. All they ask is that if you use their tracks you link back to their site or list them in your credits.

Tons of great music for free. The site was created by composer Kevin MacLeod and has tons of music, categorized by genre and feel. Free to use, but you have to place a credit within the video.

This website has a special section just for tracks that were uploaded under a Creative Commons license. This means you’re free to use them as long as you follow the guidelines established by the artist. This is a good place to find tracks that don’t sound like background music.

This is a great website with a huge searchable database of ambient sounds and sound effects. Some clips require attribution, so make sure to read the license for each clip.

Several thousand free sound effects that are also of very good quality. They also have hundreds of categories, so it’s pretty easy to find the exact type of sound you are looking for.

About 2,000 free sounds that are licensed under Creative Commons. If you want to use a sound effect that will be for commercial purposes, click on "royalty-free sounds." No login required.
